Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see what their club does in the summer window with it widely expected that they will sign players.
The men from Old Trafford have not had the season they would have ideally wanted this year with them falling out of the title race very early on in the campaign.
The summer, then, should see them sign plenty of players as they look to build a title-winning side and, according to Portuguese publication A Bola – via The Metro – the Red Devils could look to sign Victor Lindelof.
The Swedish international has emerged as one of the better young defenders in Europe this season for Benfica and the report believes that a £38 million bid could be in the offing.
That, then, would represent a significant outlay for United but if last summer’s spending is anything to go by, it could just be a drop in the ocean for the men from Old Trafford.
