Metro have Manchester United fans shaking their heads here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that the Red Devils are set to send James Wilson out on loan for the rest of the season.
Now as one of our punters shouts over from the pool table, we know Wilson is young and he does need minutes on the field but at the end of the day, United are in need of options and with Robin van Persie injury prone and Radamel Falcao seemingly now the Under 21s mascot, we thought Wilson may get a shot at the first team – but apparently not.
Wilson looks set to join a Championship side with Derby County leading the race for his signature and while we think it will be a good move for the player himself, we are not sure about how much good it will do United in the short term.
