As the Manchester United fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern run through this weekend’s action, they’ve been met with some interesting transfer reports this Monday lunchtime.
As they enjoy an early drink in the bar, reports from West London Sport have provided our United-mad punters with some food for thought in regards to player incomings and outgoings. They’ve revealed Championship side QPR have had a bid accepted for midfielder Sean Goss, who is reportedly set to undergo a medical and thrash out personal terms.
The 21-year-old joined the Red Devils back in 2012 from Exeter City as a highly-rated youngster, though has been unable to have much of an impact on first-team proceedings since. Despite being involved in first-team training under Jose Mourinho, Goss (who can also operate at left-back), looks set to leave for west London.
No fee is mentioned in the report, though our United supporters propping up the bar are pretty optimistic they won’t be buying this youngster back, as they did with a certain Paul Pogba at great expense this summer.
Is Goss Championship level? Let us know below…
