Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are discussing the chances of losing one of their talented youngsters, amid reports that bids will occur in January.
The Daily Mirror state Monaco will return for Charley Musonda in January, after seeing a bid for the 19-year-old talent turned down in the summer.
Musonda is highly-rated as one of the best prospects in Chelsea’s academy but the West London side struggle to give young players chances in the first-team, which could lead to the talented teenager leaving Stamford Bridge in January.
Whilst Monaco want to bring the Belgium U21 starlet to France, there is Premier League interest in the form of Premier League leaders Arsenal– with the Gunners reported by French media to have made a swoop in the summer.
Chelsea persuaded Musonda to stay in the previous transfer window with the promise of first-team opportunities but they have not been forthcoming- and Monaco want to use this to their advantage, prepared to offer a loan stint or a permanent deal.
