The Manchester United supporters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are happy to see signs of life emerging during Jose Mourinho’s stint in charge. 

Perhaps the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ hasn’t had the impact many expected him to have at Old Trafford, though there have at least been promising signs of late.

An upturn in performances recently, coupled with the fact the January transfer window is just around the corner, has given the United supporters who frequent our halls reason to smile.

Another man linked with a move to Old Trafford is Atletico Madrid’s monstrous central defender Jose Gimenez.

At just 21-years of age, the youngster has already established himself as one of the elite defenders in the world and would undoubtedly be a major signing for United’s ailing defence.
