Granted it is just pre-season, but Manchester United have just been embarrassed during their pre-season tour.
Against a Dortmund side that has lost the majority of it’s top stars this season, a lazy United side lost the game 4-1, much to the dismay of the Manchester United fans.
Jose Mourinho has brought in some top stars this summer; but he has failed to rid the club of the dead weight that plagued Van Gaal during his last season in charge.
The Dortmund result surely must be the final nail in the coffin for some of the disappointing United stars .
Here are THREE stars that should be sold by Jose Mourinho following the Dortmund result……
Phil Jones

Sir Alex Ferguson once famously described him having the potential to become “one of United’s best ever”, but Phil Jones was anything but at his best against Dortmund.
The young defender looked a real talent when Ferguson signed him from Blackburn in 2011, but it seems that he has only gotten worse since that point.
Last season was a particular low point for the Englishman, enduring a poor season which culminated in him missing out on a spot in the England squad for the European Championships – and he has shown no signs of getting better during pre-season.
He looked uncomfortable and awkward in defence, lacking the composure that is expected of a Manchester United defender.
United fans have now turned on him too, calling for him to leave the club after a shocking last 12 months. He looks no better now than when he signed 5 years ago; it is time for Jones to go.
Memphis Depay

Memphis Depay was signed with a lot of fanfare last season, with Van Gaal hailing him as a future Manchester United legend.
But in reality, the very opposite happened.
He couldn’t hold down a spot in the United first team, and when he was given a chance he looked like he wasn’t ready for the Premier League.
He has shown no signs of improvement against Dortmund, showing many of the same traits that he displayed throughout the last year.
Looking slow and uncomfortable on the ball; he has already been outshined by Henrikh Mhytyrian despite the latter only joining the club within the last few weeks.
Sluggish, unimpressive and lazy; it is time for Memphis Depay to go.
Jesse Lingard

It is always disappointment to say goodbye to a youth academy product; but Jesse Lingard simply isn’t good enough to wear a United shirt.
A couple of big goals last year got him a place as a squad player; but he has no role at United above that.
Much like Memphis Depay, he looked lazy and uncomfortable on the ball; and when he managed to get a chance going forward he lacked composure in front of goal.
In the Premier League you cannot afford to miss when you get a real chance in front of goal; and Lingard is prolific…at missing.
He wont be good enough to be a Jose Mourinho player; and it is time for him to leave the club after another woeful performance.
