Manchester United continued their impressive streak without tasting defeat during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool, much to the delight of the Red Devils supporters who were present here in the Transfer Tavern.
There was an eruption of noise when a late Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal saw United claim a valuable point, whilst the Tavern’s landlord was left cleaning beer from his ceiling this past week following the celebrations!
United know that they must keep up their current form if they are to force their way into the top four this season, with all the top six seemingly capable of putting together a steady run of results.
United face Stoke City today and some of the punters in the Tavern have been discussing which of these two players could be in line for an axing by boss Jose Mourinho.
Anthony Martial

The Frenchman has been used a winger more often than not this season and following a below-par performance last weekend he could be left out today.
Martial is clearly a talented player although he appears to be struggling with his confidence during the current campaign, with a loan move away from Old Trafford mentioned in recent weeks.
One of our resident United fans is chucking his hard-earned wages into the fruit machine and he thinks the youngster is in poor form at present and could do with taking out of the spotlight for a few weeks.
Paul Pogba

In terms of Pogba, boss Jose Mourinho is in between a rock and a hard place at the moment.
On one hand can he afford to be dropping a player who cost in excess of £90 million, but on current form can he really warrant handing him a shirt every single week?
Pogba was awful in last weekend’s draw with Liverpool and one fan here in the Tavern even ripped off his replica shirt which had ‘POGBA 6’ emblazoned on the back, tossing it in the bin and stating that he wouldn’t be too displeased to never see the Frenchman play for United again!
Manchester United fans, do you agree that these two players need dropping? Who should play instead? Let us know in the comments below!!!
