After a big money move to Manchester United, big things were expected of ex-Southampton man Morgan Schneiderlin.
The midfielder was dynamic and fruitful in the heart of the Southampton midfield, and the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern have often recounted how they thought he was a step above everyone else in the Southampton first team.
However, when his big money move finally came – it just didn’t work out. Since his arrival in Manchester, he has been unable to force his way into the Utd first team – and under Jose Mourinho he has found his opportunities continually limited.
What’s more, it would appear that Schneiderlin’s fortunes are showing no sign of turning; with Mourinho reportedly ready to change up his midfield.
According to TransferMarketWeb, Mourinho is ready to sell Morgan Schneiderlin as he looks to continue his rebuild at Manchester United.
Whilst disappointing news to the Man Utd fans in the Tavern, they are not surprised. Mourinho clearly doesn’t rate him – and our landlord feels that his talents would be better served at a club that rates him more highly.
