The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side to secure progression beyond the Champions League group stage…
It has been a long time since the Red Devils were competitive in Europe’s premier competition, but under Jose Mourinho, they look set to take it by storm.
If their Premier League form is anything to go by, the club should have no problem getting past their group and making a splash in the knockout stages.
Standing in their way, though, is a tough game against CSKA Moscow. Though it’s only the second round of fixtures, a win will put the Red Devils in a very commanding position, and so Jose Mourinho needs to do all he can to secure a win.
A few personnel changes are to be expected on the field, and Jose Mourinho must be harsh in his team selection. A couple of players deserve a chance to feature from the start, and that could mean that a couple of players are dropped.
With that said, Mourinho should drop these 2 Man Utd players against CSKA Moscow tonight – agreed?
Ashley Young

Ashley Young has had a decent few weeks back in the Man Utd first team, but is he really the future of the defence?
At 32-years-old, he isn’t a player that is going to feature on a weekly basis for very long, and so this game represents a chance for another player to get his opportunity.
Young wasn’t particularly impressive at the weekend, either.
Daley Blind could be an option, given that Luke Shaw is not involved once again.
Juan Mata

Juan Mata has looked okay this season, but his statistics say otherwise.
He’s still yet to score or assist under Mourinho this term, and that is particularly surprising given how prolific his teammates in the attack have been.
Anthony Martial, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford have all been stunning going forward, picking up goals and assists aplenty, and Mata has not yet managed to do that.
Mata will come good, but perhaps that trio deserves a chance to impress collectively.
