Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing how their side does when the Premier League returns this weekend.
The international break perhaps came at a bad time for the Magpies with them chalking up their first points of the season in the final game beforehand thanks to a win over West Ham at St. James’ Park.
For sure, then, the Tynesiders will be looking to pick up where they left off when they play Swansea this weekend but they will have to do that without Aleksandar Mitrovic who is banned after a violent conduct charge.
The Serbian striker, though, is seemingly in good form with him scoring last time out against West Ham and scoring for his country in this international break.
