Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing just how their side is going to perform this weekend coming once the international break is out of the way.
The men from St. James’ Park did not enjoy the best start to the campaign with two back-to-back losses but they did do something to salvage their start with a good win over West Ham before the international break arrived.
The club, then, needs to be kicking on with things this weekend but before they can do that they have a few more players on national duty for their respective countries.
For sure, the most eye-catching game for them is the match between the Republic of Ireland and Serbia where Ciaran Clark and Aleksandar Mitrovic could come face to face and Magpies fans have certainly been speaking about that on Twitter.
So, with that in mind, here is the best of what has been said:
Good morning!
Plenty of #NUFC interest in today’s internationals and no more so than in Dublin, where @FAIreland take on @FSSrbije tonight. pic.twitter.com/3HYsEK5T8Z
