Newcastle United have played six games in the Premier League and seven in all competitions this season. Regardless of their tough start, scoring just four goals isn’t good enough and they’ll need to improve that. The Magpies tweeted their loan watch today with a link to the Newcastle Website and the fans have been wondering how they’d be getting on had they kept Gayle and Mitrovic.

Gayle’s goal over the weekend made it five goals and five assists for the 27-year-old in just eight games in the Championship for West Brom. The good news will be that Gayle is only on-loan, however, one man that isn’t on loan is Aleksandar Mitrovic and the fans would all love to have him back as he tops the Premier League’s goalscoring tables with an impressive five goals in his six games for new boys, Fulham.
Whilst The Geordies have managed to score five goals in all competitions, two from Joselu, one from DeAndre Yedlin and one from Ciaran Clark in the Premier League and the one for Salomon Rondon in the Carabao Cup, their two ex-strikers have bagged ten goals and five assists between them, and those goals and assists would come in very handy at the moment as the St James Park faithful struggle to see where the goals will come from.

Missed a few last season but ludicrous to let him go ! Keeps defenders on their toes and has always scored goals . But some clown thought the awful Rondon would be a better option!

The fans would love to go back to the summer and undo their transfer business with Rondon, Gayle and Mitrovic, but unfortunately, they’re stuck with the current squad until at least January.
