Plenty of Newcastle United fans are buzzing after Le10Sport reported that the Tyneside club have been credited with interest in signing Donny van de Beek.
According to the article, the Ajax man has been shortlisted by Real Madrid and has also interested Everton. However, if a takeover is completed at St. James’ Park, the Magpies may have the necessary riches to tempt van de Beek away from the Eredivisie.

The £39.6m-valued ace is enjoying a relatively impressive season in Dutch football, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions, as per Transfermarkt.
However, following the news that the Netherlands have cancelled their top domestic league under the current climate, it looks as if van de Beek will not be able to showcase his talents until the next campaign at least.
Nevertheless, some members of the Toon faithful may be hoping that this would be with NUFC rather than in Holland.
