After Newcastle United sealed their second win in a row with a dramatic 2-1 victory at home to Southampton, with two goals in the second half ultimately continuing their great start to a busy festive period, supporters have still taken issue with the misfiring Joelinton.
The Brazilian, who has scored just once all season for the Magpies, with his only goal coming in their first victory of the season away to Spurs, has been at the mercy of a lot of critics since his arrival at St. James’ Park – with the former Hoffenheim forward still not quite finding his feet in front of goal.

Joelinton scored seven goals and assisted five others for the German outfit last campaign, including one in the Champions League as per WhoScored.com, with supporters expecting a somewhat similar Premier League return since his record signing in the summer.
So far, he has failed to deliver, and when supporters were asked about a potential tactical change for Burnley, fans called for him to be dropped or sold.
