Allan Saint-Maximin seems to be emerging as somewhat of a cult-hero at Newcastle United and this sublime bit of skill shows why he is rated so highly.Â
Will Allan Saint-Maximin be a Newcastle United player next season?
Yes, no end product
Not with Ashley about
The Magpies bagged consecutive wins for the first time this campaign following impressive back to back victories over West Ham and Bournemouth, with Saint-Maximin starring in each encounter.
The former France U21 international was unlucky not to open his account for the Magpies, finding himself through on goal twice against West Ham a fortnight ago and rattling the crossbar at home to Bournemouth at the weekend – with strikes from DeAndre Yedlin and Ciaran Clark cancelling out Harry Wilson’s early opener.
Despite the statistics not reinforcing his influence on the pitch, this bit of footage from their bout with the Cherries definitely will, with Saint-Maximin skating past four players whilst driving through centre-midfield.
You can’t be doing that to defenders! @asaintmaximin they have families! #NUFC pic.twitter.com/xgArdnYEeO

Of course, supporters have since hailed the Frenchman’s innovation, simply not being able to believe he dons black and white every weekend, with Saint-Maximin himself actually replying to the post.
He is ridiculous 🔥🔥🔥
