Newcastle United have been drawn against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup, as confirmed by the club’s official channels.
Some Magpies fans have been focusing on the overall challenge their side will face in getting through, as this is only their first game in the competition this season.

However, there are many who have decided to focus on one man ahead of the tie: Ayoze Perez.
The Spaniard was sold to the Foxes for £30m this summer, as reported by BBC Sport, with this being the first time he will return to St. James’ Park following the transfer.
Perez started 34 league games for Newcastle last season and came off the bench three times, scoring 12 goals and assisting two, as per WhoScored.
The feeling among many Newcastle fans is that the club’s former player will open his Leicester account at his old stomping ground if he hasn’t done so beforehand.
