Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden’s London home was burgled over the weekend and the Toon Army have been tweeting messages of support.
The 24-year-old has been spending time with his family after the first team were sent away from Benton training ground in the wake of recent events.
He rarely posts on social media but took to Twitter after coming back from shopping to find his home in the English capital had been burgled and posted pictures of the shocking crime scene online.

Since joining Newcastle from Arsenal for a reported fee of £2.61m back in 2016, Hayden has played in over 100 games for the Tyneside club, scoring 5 goals and creating 9 assists in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
The former England U21 international won 3 caps for the national development squad. His current market value is estimated at £9m (Transfermarkt).
Hayden has featured in 24 Premier League matches under current boss Steve Bruce and scored one goal and provided one assist (Transfermarkt).
Understandably loads of Magpies were shocked by the news and tweeted the defensive midfielder messages of support in a show of solidarity, with several labelling the robbery as “disgusting.”
