Newcastle United: Fans wish Allan Saint-Maximin happy birthday

The Toon Army have reacted to a post from Newcastle United’s official Twitter account wishing fan favourite Allan Saint-Maximin a happy birthday. The Magpies star tweeted a two-word reply resulting in plenty of reactions from supporters online.

Quoting a famous remark from boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, popularised by internet meme @NoContextHearn, the club posted:

"My darling, you with the headband, you are different gravy."

Saint-Maximin replied on Twitter with a simple “my club” followed by a heart emoji.

Since moving to Tyneside from French side Nice, the 23-year-old has made 18 appearances in the Premier League for Steve Bruce’s Black and Whites this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists (Transfermarkt).

Bruce’s squad are currently 13th in the English top flight with 35 points, just 2 points behind Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton, and are preparing to face Sheffield United on Saturday at St James’ Park.
