Aleksandar Mitrovic, who bagged 13 goals and ten assists in 56 appearances over the course of two seasons on Tyneside, is currently on fire for Fulham in the Championship – surpassing his entire total for Newcastle in just half a campaign with 15 strikes.

In comparison, Joelinton has failed to reach those heights at any stage in his career so far – with his best season in top-flight football coming last year for Hoffenheim when he scored seven goals and assisted five others in the Bundesliga.
Now, judging by a recent debate on Twitter, it seems most Newcastle supporters would take the Serbian hitman back in a heartbeat in a straight swap with their record signing – here’s what they had to say.
