Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern have really been put through the mill in recent games after their side have taken them to every extreme results wise.
Indeed, after the euphoria of beating Brighton and Huddersfield and drawing with Reading many Magpies thought that the Championship title was their’s to lose.
Now, though, after losing at home to Fulham they are back level on points with the Seagulls and so it very much seems like the race for the crown is going to go all the way to the wire.
Whatever happens, though, the Magpies are still confident that they will be able to earn promotion to the Premier League and it appears transfer plans are already taking place.
Indeed, according to Chronicle Live, the Magpies have already held transfer meetings about possibly bringing in a new striker whilst they have also decided that Aleksandar Mitrovic will not be sold.
That news, in particular, has been welcomed by our local Newcastle fans who are big fans of the young Serbian.
He looks set to get his chance to impress, then, and so now it just remains to be seen if he takes it.
