Newcastle United: Loads of Magpies fans fume following report on Saint-Maximin

It appears the Allan Saint-Maximin injury may well be a myth, according to an exclusive via the Daily Mail. Sky Sports’ Keith Downie revealed yesterday the 22-year-old is suffering from a back and hamstring injury and is a major doubt for the FA Cup tie tonight.

Craig Hope however reports that Saint-Maximin’s future at St. James’ Park is in doubt, with multiple sources insisting the French winger is match fit and ready to play, despite Steve Bruce claiming he is still a doubt for the game against West Bromwich Albion.

Since joining Newcastle from French side Nice in the summer on a six-year contract, the attacking midfielder has made 19 appearances overall for the Magpies, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist according to data provided by WhoScored.com.
