Newcastle United: Magpies fans react to Allan Saint-Maximin’s tweet

Loads of Newcastle United fans reacted to a tweet from Allan Saint-Maximin sharing footage of the Tyneside star having a kickabout with his daughters.

As a result of the global crisis, players and staff alike have been told to stay away from Benton training ground and St. James’ Park, and the Frenchman is still working on keeping his skills razor-sharp. Saint-Maximin posted a video of the 23-year-old deftly keeping a football away from his children, including showing off an aerial trick, leaving the two toddlers in a heap on the floor.

The French speedster has netted two goals in 18 games in the Premier League for Steve Bruce’s Black and Whites, averaging 1.7 shots per game, completing 4.4 successful dribbles, and making 1.3 key passes on average in the English top tier (WhoScored).

Naturally, the fan favourite’s tweet prompted thousands of interactions from the Toon Army, with one fan calling the video “absolutely criminal.” Another supporter simply stated Geordies have “just got to love this man.”
