Indeed, with Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops narrowly beaten in the Champions League by Bayern Munich, our resident Gers weren’t overly sympathetic, despite the good performance put on by the green and white cause. So, imagine the delight amongst our local Light Blues following the news that Rangers had welcomed the German giants to Auchenhowie.
Die Rotten warmed down from their win just across Glasgow by using the club’s facilities and the punters propping up our bar were delighted to see Murray Park play host to some truly elite talents once more.
