Arsenal: Fans excited as Nicolas Pepe announcement draws closer

Arsenal fans are getting more and more excited after an image of Nicolas Pepe emerged online on Tuesday evening.
The Ivorian was pictured wearing an Arsenal shirt during what appeared to be the player’s photoshoot for his announcement.

Arsenal reportedly struck a deal with French club Lille to sign the right-winger for an astronomical £72m last week. The 24-year-old arrived in London on Tuesday for a medical and to sign his contract.
Pepe enjoyed a standout season with Lille last season, finishing the second top scorer and joint-highest creator in Ligue 1, with 22 goals and 11 assists respectively.
His arrival will be Arsenal’s fourth of this summer’s transfer window after the signings of Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba.
The excitement is building for the Gooners and with just over a week left in the window, it seems their business isn’t done, with BBC journalist David Ornstein alluding to yet more business.
