The excitement started bubbling among Norwich City fans after the club announced the signing of defensive midfielder Ibrahim Amadou from Spanish club Sevilla.

The Frenchman joins from the La Liga outfit on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy. The 26-year-old made 17 appearances in the Spanish top-flight last season.
He joins Ralf Fahrmann, Patrick Roberts, Josip Drmic, and Sam Byram as one of five senior players to have joined the club following promotion from the Championship.
Amadou spoke after his move to the Norfolk side and said: “It is a dream to play in the Premier League. I had interest from clubs in other countries, but my priority was to play in the Premier League.” (Source: BBC)
Fans seemed thrilled at the move for the midfielder, who joins the likes of Tom Trybull and Louis Thompson in the middle of the park.
