The Swedish forward has come in and made a monumental impact in the Premier League, often becoming the focal point of the Man Utd attack.
Indeed, Jose Mourinho’s side may well have struggled without him. He is their top scorer, with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba struggling in front of goal, and to lose him would be nothing short of a disaster – at least according to those in the Transfer Tavern.
There was genuine fear in the pub, then, when comments from the Swedish forward hinted that he might leave the club this summer, demanding that his side match his lofty level of ambition.
His future remains undecided and uncertain, but the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are very concerned – and the supporters on Twitter are feeling pretty nervous that he might leave, too…
