According to a report by the Chronicle, Nottingham Forest are part of a long line of Championship clubs who are interested in snapping up promising young Newcastle United midfielder Matty Longstaff in January – prompting many supporters to react as this news emerges.
Longstaff, who burst on to the scene with a wonder goal against Man United last season, is currently at the centre of reports linking him with a move to the Championship as he seeks valuable game time.

The ‘phenomenal’ 20-year-old has been somewhat hampered by injuries this season which have resulted in Steve Bruce’s decision not to call upon the young Magpie, and a loan move to England’s second tier could be a viable option.
Manager Chris Hughton is reportedly eyeing the ace along with several other Championship clubs, with Forest fans having plenty to say and a mixed variety of opinions.
