It must be an exciting time to be a Newcastle fan.

They’re back in the Premier League after only one year out and have a talented, experienced manager to guide them back into life in the Premier League.

Our landlord doesn’t think the Tyneside club will be in any danger of facing relegation next season.

They have a talented squad and a proven manager which is all that is really necessary for a winning formation.

He’s not expecting a top half finish or European places but the landlord would be surprised to see them in the relegation dog fight come the end of next season.

Whilst their current team looks good, they also have a few within their youth ranks that could be leading the team into the future sooner rather than later.

On that note, here are two Newcastle starlets you need to keep an eye on.

Freddie Woodman

Part of the England side who won the u20 World Cup recently, Freddie Woodman looks destined for success.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock FC and managed to keep four clean sheets in 14 appearances, not bad for his first taste of first team football.

Newcastle’s keeping situation right now is pretty average, nothing too special but they have a few who can do a job.

Expect to see Woodman make his way to the first team possibly as soon as this season.

Daniel Barlaser

Turkish midfielder Daniel Barlaser has already made a few appearances for the Newcastle first team.

He appeared in two FA Cup ties last season against Birmingham and Oxford.

The 20-year-old has impressed for the u23 side as a winger but now plays his game in the centre of the park and has been equally as impressive.

Due to the lack of signings made by Benitez so far this summer, Barlaser could be making his Premier League debut soon.
