Crystal Palace appear to be still active in the domestic transfer window as reports are linking them with a move for Bournemouth forward Josh King.
According to The Mirror and as tweeted by @cpfc_xtra, Palace and Fulham are among a number of clubs keen to take King from Bournemouth in the final few days of the domestic transfer window. The forward wants an immediate return to the Premier League after suffering relegation with the Cherries in July.
King has scored 50 goals in his 171 appearances for Bournemouth, per Transfermarkt, including 48 in the Premier League. This highlights that he would seemingly be a good option to bolster Roy Hodgson’s attack at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles have already signed forward Michy Batshuayi on loan from fellow Premier League side Chelsea, but a move to sign a forward on a permanent deal should be much more beneficial for the south Londoners in the long run.
