Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have expressed their worries after hearing a European powerhouse is linked with the signature of one of their most exciting young talents.
HITC cite French outlet L’Equipe as stating PSG are keen to bring Spurs youngster Deli Alli to Ligue 1, following the midfielder’s fine rise to form in the early stages of this season.
Signing from MK Dons, Alli has made a quick impression in the Premier League as he secured a first-team spot for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, whilst he also made his senior international debut with England earlier this month.
Spurs rank Alli very highly and the reports from France will concern the club hierarchy, as they are likely to be unable to compete financially with the Champions League outfit.
Whether Alli would genuinely consider a move abroad is up for debate, as the Spurs fans at the bar confidently declare he wouldn’t give-up regular Premier League football for a bit-part role in an illustrious PSG squad.
With the French side already boasting the talents of stars like Marco Verratti, you’d have to agree with them.
Spurs fans, is Alli good enough for PSG and Champions League football? Let us know in the comments below!
