‘Perhaps there will be a St. Arsenal day this year?’ - Spurs fans react to latest Gunners shambles

Our Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern have had big smiles on their faces this season and they only got wider after last night’s Premier League football.

The Lilywhites have once again been one of the sides to beat with their brilliant brand of football and, though it looks like they are going to finish behind Chelsea, they do look set to finish above Arsenal at last.

Indeed, their fierce north London rivals have been absolutely woeful of late and that was once again brought to the fore as they lost 3-0 down at Selhurst Park last night.

Certainly, it was a dire performance from the Gunners who were limp and simply not up for the fight, leaving many to stick their oars in and have a pop at a club seriously in trouble.

Spurs fans, then, were hardly going to let that opportunity pass them by and so here is the best of what was said on Twitter:
