While a 1-1 draw away at Manchester United can’t really be considered a bad result, the manner in which Everton conceded the lead late on has annoyed our punters.
In fact, the fact they conceded a last-minute penalty as a result of Ashley Williams’ handball seemed to irk striker Romelu Lukaku something fierce, with the Belgian venting his frustration to the Welshman.
Still, interestingly enough, though the forward is a revered figure amongst our drinkers, there’s been a huge backing online for the Welsh defender online. Yes, he may have blocked Luke Shaw’s shot with his hand, though the former Swansea man played well until that point and was a major reason the Merseyside club held off United for as long as they did.
