Pontus Jansson may be a doubt for Bristol City clash

Leeds United will look to get their season back on track when they meet Bristol City at Elland Road at the weekend.

The Whites were thumped by West Bromwich Albion just prior to the international break to give Marcelo Bielsa his heaviest defeat in charge of the club so far.

Leeds have had a number of injuries over the course of the season as well and it does not appear that things are going to get any easier when the Robins visit Yorkshire.

According to Phil Hay, it appears that Pontus Jansson could be a doubt for the game on Saturday afternoon.

The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist, who has proven very reliable over the years, took to Twitter suggesting that the Swede could find it difficult to make the game against Bristol City.

However, Hay did not rule him out of making it and stated that the injury Jansson suffered had not sounded too serious.

The Verdict:

Leeds fans will be anxious to hear further developments on how Jansson is doing as the week moves forward.

Bielsa already has a number of players at the back already unavailable, so it will be a concerning time for everyone at Elland Road.

With the player having not been officially ruled out just yet, they will be able to take some comfort that he could be available to feature for the Whites in their fixture with Bristol City.
