Everton fans have exploded in delighted after reports emerged that the club are prepared to listen to offers for midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to Football Insider.

The 30-year-old has been unable to find his form since his £45m move that the club paid to bring him to Merseyside from Swansea City in 2017.
Sigurdsson received waves of criticism following the first Merseyside derby defeat of the season back in December, where the Toffees lost 5-2 against their hated neighbours.

That game saw the end of Marco Silva’s reign in the Goodison Park hot seat, where the three-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti took charge.
According to Football Insider, Ancelotti has made his mind up with the Icelandic playmaker and has decided he can leave if the club can coup a significant portion of what they paid three years ago.
