Everton: Fans urge club to bring Jonjoe Kenny home

Everton defender Jonjoe Kenny turned 23-years-old yesterday and Blues fans are urging the club to bring the local lad home from loan to rejoin the Goodison group.

The right-back is currently on loan with Schalke 04 and is flourishing in the Bundesliga. Kenny has kept seven clean sheets this season and has contributed to three goals from the back-line (via Transfermarkt).

The Blues loanee is averaging 2.4 clearances per game, which is more than French teammates Lucas Digne (2.3) and Djibril Sidibé (1.3) (via WhoScored).

Kenny joined the Bundesliga outfit last summer and has impressed those at the top. As a result, Schalke are reportedly lining up a permanent move for the 23-year-old which will give him a lot to consider as the club continues to push for a European spot (via Daily Mail).

However, Everton fans are adamant Kenny will be staying with them, with many trying to coax him back to Merseyside on the club’s post for his birthday. The Toffees could really benefit from the £10.8million-rated starlet (Transfermarkt) as Sidibe complaints ramp up.
