Plenty of Leicester fans rounded on Harvey Barnes as their eight-match winning run in the Premier League came to an end this afternoon.
The 22-year-old wide midfielder came on for Dennis Praet at half-time in the Foxes’ 1-1 draw at home to Norwich and failed to make much of an impact at the King Power Stadium.
He has scored just once in 16 games so far this season, despite making 11 Premier League starts, and Jordan Blackwell of Leicestershire Live said that “his dribbling was not as effective as usual, while his shooting was again off the mark” against Norwich.
Matt O’Connor-Simpson of 90min.com also took a dim view of Barnes’ performance, giving him only a five in his player ratings, and these Leicester fans on Twitter expressed their displeasure at the 22-year-old’s display this afternoon:
Harvey Barnes is not premier league quality. Accept it. If he wasn’t from the academy everyone would give him the pre Rodgers Iheanacho treatment. State of him.

Sign a winger in January I beg Harvey Barnes isn’t good enough.

Someone please tell me what Harvey Barnes has ever done? So average

Lucky to even get a point from that. That match showed that we desperately need a winger in January, Barnes was a joke. #lcfc

Do you think Barnes was poor today? Is he good enough to be starting regularly for Leicester? Have your say by commenting below!
