Liverpool fans took to Twitter yesterday to wish Marko Grujic well as he signed a new Liverpool contract and departed the club on a season-long loan to Hertha BSC The club announced the news on the Liverpool website and they’ll be keen to see the Serbian in their squad next season.
Good luck for the season, Marko. pic.twitter.com/OIMbpxEp7d

It seems like just a matter of time until Jurgen Klopp includes the 22-year-old in his first-team squad. Grujic joined the club from Red Star Belgrade back in 2016 and since then he’s made 14 senior appearances, however, he spent the second half of last season with Cardiff in the Championship and he helped them achieve promotion to the Premier League.
Now it looks like a lot of Liverpool fans will be tuning in to watch Bundesliga football whenever they can as they’ll be keeping a close eye on the Serbian’s progress. Even if some fans aren’t watching Grujic they’ll be interested to see if he makes the Serbia squad for the upcoming international breaks after he was part of his country’s World Cup squad in Russia over the summer.
