Liverpool: Fans fume at Divock Origi after his performance during Shrewsbury Town affair

Loads of Liverpool fans voiced their disapproval over Divock Origi performance during his side’s 2-2 draw against Shrewsbury Town on Sunday.

The Reds were forced to take on the Shropshire based outfit in an FA Cup fourth-round replay despite being 2-0 up early in the second half. Curtis Jones scored the opener for the visitors and an own goal from Donald Love doubled their advantage. However, the Shrews fought back as substitute Jason Cummings scored a brace to ensure that another 90 minutes must be played.

Origi, who scored during the Champions League final against Spurs in May, looked way off his usual sharp form as he struggled out on the left-hand side for Liverpool. Indeed, he lost possession 18 times, only won two out of seven of his ground duels and only made 14 accurate passes all game, as per Sofascore. With that in mind, supporters were livid with the Belgium international and made their feelings clear on social media.
