A number of Manchester City fans have praised Kyle Walker after the right-back posted a message of thanks to supporters on the social media platform after helping England into the Euro 2020 final.

On a historic night for the Three Lions as they ended a 55-year wait for a major final, the 31-year-old played his part in the 2-1 semi-final win over Denmark [BBC].

The Sheffield-born defender has been a key player for club and country in recent years. In 2020/21, he made 42 appearances for the Citizens, registering three goal contributions with two goals and an assist [Transfermarkt].
