Former forward Sam Parkin believes a host of Manchester City stars could consider their futures at the end of the season, with Bernardo Silva one of them.

The Premier League champions were hit with a two-year Champions League ban after UEFA found them guilty of breaching financial fair play regulations and Parkin thinks this could now spark an exodus at the Etihad Stadium. Speaking on the Totally Football Show podcast, Parkin said: "I think individuals will seriously be considering their futures now, especially the ones that are in their peaks, approaching their peaks, the ones that could realistically walk into a Real Madrid or Barcelona side.

"I'm talking about [Kevin] De Bruyne, [Raheem] Sterling definitely. You could probably put Bernardo Silva in the mix there as well."

It would not be a surprise to see the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona go after Bernardo should he ever become available. The 25-year-old was particularly impressive last season as Manchester City claimed their second consecutive Premier League title under Pep Guardiola.

He scored seven goals, assisted a further seven and averaged two key passes per game -- the second most in Manchester City's squad (per WhoScored) -- so most teams would probably take the Portugal international if given the opportunity.

Manchester City fans, can the club keep hold of Bernardo and co if the ban stands? Tell us what you think in the comment section below!
