Mauricio Pochettino desperately needs to find the source of his side’s recent problems in the Premier League as their top four hopes are at risk.
Spurs currently find themselves sitting in third position on 61 points but the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are now within touching distance of catching them.
The summer transfer window could hold the key to Spurs challenging for the title next season after a couple of majorly disappointing transfer windows. MAURICIO POCHETTINO FINALLY SECURE KANE UNDERSTUDY
Harry Kane has been the star of the show once again for Spurs in the current campaign having produced an incredible 24 goals and six assists in just 36 appearances in all competitions.
But, a big problem for Mauricio Pochettino’s side has been the amount of support that the Englishman has received this season. Fernando Llorente enjoyed a brief spell in the side and did well to be fair to him, but Spurs still lack a quality attacker who can step into the side or line up alongside Kane to really help take the pressure off his shoulders.
Jota has shown that he can create and score goals in the Premier League this season and he managed to turn Luke Shaw inside out in the FA Cup recently, so it’s clear to see that he has the ability.
NEW STADIUM DELIGHT
Spurs fans will be preparing to enter their new stadium on the 3rd of April as their side will take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League. But, things will be even better next season with the summer transfer window allowing Daniel Levy to bring in a number of players in preparation for a full campaign at the new White Hart Lane.
Diogo Jota is exactly the kind of player who could get fans off their seats as he’s created plenty of excitement already in the Premier League and some of his solo runs have been breathtaking this season. But, most of all, Spurs fans would be delighted to see a new, exciting attacker rock up to potentially partner Harry Kane.
