Tottenham Hotspur: Fans don’t rate 12-goal ace Eberechi Eze

Some Spurs fans do not rate Eberechi Eze highly as the Queens Park Rangers midfielder was linked to a £20 million move to the north London club in the summer via The Sun.
The link was relaid on Twitter by the Daily Hotspur page, The Spurs Web, Hotspur Lane and journalist Ricky Sacks. Indeed, Eze has scored 12 goals and provided a further eight assists in 37 games in the Championship this season (via Transfermarkt), which is impressive considering that the London club currently sit 13th in the table (via BBC).
The Hoops have scored 58 goals in the league and Eze has contributed to over half of them (54%), highlighting his importance to the club. Still, if Spurs come calling for him it might be difficult for the 21-year old to say no given their status as one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
Would Eberechi Eze improve Tottenham at all?
Yes

No

Spurs have gambled on Championship talent before when they signed Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham in the summer as well as the likes of Dele Alli from even further down the footballing pyramid, but it looks like some fans do not seem to rate Eze highly as a potential incoming. Indeed, these fans gave their thoughts on Twitter:

Our recruitment system is all wrong – we shouldn't be buying players from lower league's, developing them, then selling them on for a tidy profit (or letting them run their contract down).
Time to sign some ready made talent, proven at this level.
