Tottenham Hotspur failed to back-up their Boxing Day win against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, drawing 2-2 against bottom of the table Norwich City at Carrow Road (BBC Sport).

It was a fairly disappointing performance from Jose Mourinho’s side, who have ultimately lost ground on the top four after Chelsea came from behind to beat Arsenal (BBC Sport).

Few of the Spurs players were at their best on the evening, but one who came in for specific criticism from supporters on social media was defender Juan Foyth.

The Argentine was starting for the first time in the Premier League this season (Transfermarkt), but he struggled in the game. Indeed, he lost possession 11 times, his passing accuracy was just 70% and he made one major error which led to a goal for the Canaries (SofaScore).

Ultimately, he only lasted 45 minutes as Mourinho hooked him off at half-time and finished the day with a meagre 5.9 match rating from SofaScore.
