Tottenham’s Harry Kane may be the best player at White Hart Lane right now according to our regulars here in the Football Transfer Tavern but it seems that the Spurs forward has a rather dark secret.
The Tottenham Hotspur player was once – wait for it – an Arsenal player and looks rather proud as a seven-year-old, sat in his red and white Dreamcast sponsored Gunners shirt.
Now as our punters note, the tell-tale sign that he boasts quality simply had to be Arsenal letting him slip through their fingers and it seems once again that test has worked.
With Kane now of course flourishing at North London rivals Spurs – and making sure that no one forgets his name any time soon – a fair few Premier League defenders probably quake at the mention of it.
