The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling pretty good after their side held Chelsea on Sunday afternoon…
It was a stellar performance from the Gunners, and whilst nobody gave them a chance of impressing at Stamford Bridge, Arsene Wenger really did pull out a masterful tactical display.
In truth, everybody impressed for the Gunners, and they deserve a lot of credit for that.
However, the game wasn’t without disappointment.
The biggest negative marker on the game for Arsenal came in the form of an injury to Danny Welbeck. The Englishman went down with what looked to be a groin problem, and that has left fans in the Transfer Tavern sweating on his long-term fitness.
Welbeck has, of course, been particularly injury prone during his stint at Arsenal. It’s particularly frustrating because he was finally reaching a decent level of form. He’d finally won his place in the team back, but now he looks set for another spell on the sidelines.
Unsurprisingly, this has generated a lot of frustration amongst Arsenal fans on Twitter. See what they’ve said below…

Hope Welbeck's injury isn't that bad tbh. Feel for him. Always puts 100% for the team whenever he's playing

Told you Danny Welbeck is a great option to play, would be really hard to drop him. Shame about the injury.

Hope Welbeck injury is not to serious, chance for someone else to step up to the plate in his absence.

Hope Welbeck is fine. Only negative from today is a potential injury.

Really feel sorry for Welbeck. Hope he's ok. Just when he's finding form, injury strikes again.
