Jose Mourinho likes to think of himself as pretty special, but even our punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern aren’t sure he has the ability to win a trophy his side have been knocked out of – although this viral image seems to disagree.
Chelsea may have won the League Cup this weekend beating Tottenham Hotspur but it is their north London rivals Arsenal who might be a little bit aggrieved at this headline claiming the Blues are now FA Cup holders!
Now not only are Jose Mourinho’s men actually out of the competition after suffering a humiliating defeat to Bradford, Arsenal are the current holders and have high hopes of retaining the trophy – and our Gooners here in the tavern don’t appreciate this one bit!
