Manchester United fans are looking up a little bit shocked here in the Football Transfer Tavern as one of our punters shows them this viral image and frankly we cannot blame them.
The Red Devils have been good in the second half of the season under Louis van Gaal and it seems that they could even finish second and are practically guaranteed a top four spot – but they are not going to any finals or playing in European competitions – unlike some of their former players.
Tom Cleverley may have been considered not good enough by Louis van Gaal, much like Danny Welbeck, but it is they who are off to the FA Cup final with two different clubs, unlike any United players. That is before we even mention Javier Hernandez, who is of course a Champions League semi finalist!
