Manchester United fans are shaking their heads and closing their eyes here in the Football Transfer Tavern after seeing this viral image of Radamel Falcao, who was forced to turn out for their Under 21s side.
After failing to make the cut to face Arsenal, Falcao at least made the starting XI for the match the following night against Tottenham Hotspur’s kids – although quite if that will be much comfort to him remains to be seen.
Manager Louis van Gaal had spoken about wanting to pair Falcao with James Wilson and give the two time together – but after seeing the rather expensive Columbine draw yet another blank, we think it will be a while before Falcao sees the starting line up for the first team again.
