Our punters cannot believe their eyes here in the Football Transfer Tavern as our landlord shows them this viral image of both Jack Wilshere and Ryan Mason.
The north London midfielders of course both play for England – but are rivals domestically, with Wilshere an Arsenal boy through and through and Mason someone who plays for Tottenham Hotspur – but it seems when it comes to their England performances, there is only one winner.
Mason has only played for the Three Lions once but has already managed to rack up an assist – something that Wilshere has not done in a massive 26 games.
We think injuries have obviously hampered Wilshere’s career both with England and Arsenal, but now Mason is off the mark, there is no telling where he could end up!
