Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for a massive clash against Chelsea this evening in the FA Cup.
It’s the quarter-final stage in the competition and after Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester City got through over the weekend one of the two sides will be hoping to join them at Wembley.
Indeed, this marks another chance for United to win another trophy after winning the EFL Cup but they will have to do it without Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is suspended.
Certainly, then, there is a question mark over where the goals are going to come from and our landlord believes United may have been better off keeping Memphis Depay in light of his Lyon performances.
For sure, he’s looking like the player we thought he could be at the moment after scoring an outrageous effort at the weekend from the half-way line and, naturally, United fans have had something to say about that.
